I'm looking for someone with experience repairing swords. 

( Yes, it's important to get right to the point. No one has time for long winded introductions and explanations! But he supposes an explanation is still needed here so he sighs, running a hand through his hair, pushing back his bangs and scowling just a little, )

I visited a local smith and they were too rough. It felt more like a punishment than care… ( Really! It makes him shudder just thinking about it and he touches a thin scratch on his cheek, ) Eugh. My face still hurts…

( If the smith was going to handle his true form like that, they might as well have just slapped this human body across the face. )

It's a delicate blade and this is a… ( Hm, he doesn't want to have to explain everything right from the get go so he tries to find the right word, ) personal request.

(It definitely put some wear on his blade but ah... He really has to consider this. He doesn't think it will work but then again, the saniwa's magic was a very niche type. Would healing magic work? He isn't sure but...)

I fear I only know how to sharpen stones with whetstones. Maybe the more skilled smiths may exist in the bigger cities.

Perhaps, but even in my world, only a very select few are allowed to handle my blade so I have some doubts about finding one worthy here.

Maybe there are mages around here, as well. In my world, there are mages who can cast mending on an object to repair it. Given the champions I have seen in here, it is not as unlikely.

Yes, where I'm from, my master used a combination of real technique and magic to care for us.

( So finding a sage that can repair weapons might be most ideal. )

But I agree, there may be someone similar amongst us which is why I'm asking.

Do you remember which smith it happened to be? A mark of a good smith is knowing how to handle weapons of all types and I’d prefer my own weapons were well taken care of.
Unfortunately I lack experience myself in the reparation of swords and other arms but if I come across someone with suitable skills I’ll be sure to pass their name along.

If this was one of the best this world has to offer, then this world will be fine. ( They weren't bad. They just weren't what he was looking for. ) But even in my world, only a very select few were allowed to care for my blade. ( And to the camera, he holds up a very ornamental looking sword still in it's sheath. It's either very important or all looks and totally useless based on how it's decorated. ) What do you think?
