un: lalli | video and text (open to both factions)
[The video is only about five seconds or so of footage, filmed by someone who doesn't really seem to know what they're doing. It's set in what looks like a forest--the edge of the Gods Wood, to be exact--centered on a patch of recently displaced mud and grass. In the middle is a dirty, soggy, beaten up old wooden sign, apparently dug out of said patch of mud by hand.
Written on it are the words BALANCE MUST BE RESTORED.
Then, in a separate post entirely because Lalli isn't good at this:]

( Which means she doesn't have to go over everything. )
I'd say you definitely found something.
Anyway, I guess this has all been about bringing balance back to the world. So I guess this just adds another finger to point in that direction. It might be left over from the night of the attack.

[It's not like this was a bake sale they needed to be pointed towards. Or a strike or something.]

That just makes it *more* confusing though. Ugh, all these cryptic secrets everywhere.

Anyone here have an idea?
[Consider this an open call of sorts?]

Somebody's got to be a regular at the libraries or the Court's university. Maybe they can look it up.

Well, hell, I'd say that's as likely as anything else. We already know this place erased a name from history. Why not an event too?

[ wait, no. not the point. rey pauses, and then reroutes. ]
Too bad you can't sniff them out.

[ANYHOW.]
I don't think I could after it being under mud and grass that long. Really though that's not a bad idea if you can find someone with a sensitive nose. It's worth a try anyhow?

[ note to self: bug clary and sarah about christmas customs at a later date. ]
I know someone with a decent nose.
[ hint, hint. ]
And someone who might have an even better one. An animal-like sense of smell, you could say.

[That being said though:]
It's sort telling that it was buried long enough for grass to grow over it. It's no surprise to anyone I'm sure but this sun... group or cult or whatever it is? Has been going on for a good while now.
[Maybe. How long does it take grass to regrow?]
