Just so. ( you got yourself painted into that corner, peter. but he hums as he considers this. ) Suffice to say the more you reach for whatever is 'missing' you might find it easier to grasp. At least, that's what it feels like.

( this sounds like a riddle, but luckily Peter is pretty smart when he actually bothers to try. reaching for what he's missing probably means trying to use his powers. talking in code is far more easier than actually admitting his spider superpowers are on the fritz, though, his answers are coming a little easier. )

And that works? Trying to reach for what you lost? ( he's going to feel ridiculous trying to climb walls with his powers barely working... ) Umm... thanks. I know I didn't make this conversation easy, but... this is what I needed to know.
