The Wendigo are targeting specific people.

I don't know what the criteria is, but when they select a target, they'll ignore anyone else who tries to get involved.

If you know people that are stupid and self-destructive enough to go out at night, check up on them.

And if anyone has had luck tracking them, I'm interested to know how. I'll trade whatever information I have, or anything else you want.

He was attacked in front of me and it ignored me entirely. So I made an educated guess.

Yes. Or, rather, I think they're unnatural. Perhaps a spirit made manifest into something terrible. But they bleed; likely, you can follow them that way. Those other spirits, they're too difficult to track.

if it is targeting people like that, we need to figure out what type of people it's looking for or who else is missing to see there is some sort of pattern. [and you know, help other potential targets from being eaten]

Focusing on finding a way to kill them might work, too. Though I'm not really full of ideas on that one.

yeah me either. i know we can use the runes to buy us enough time to get away from them but i've never really encountered anything like this before to know how to kill them.
